Flights for Life is a registered charity based at Wickenby Airfield in Lincolnshire. The charity has been setup with the aim of providing life limiting children with the opportunity to experience the magic of flight in a vintage aircraft.
It has been shown that, when youngsters are undergoing treatment for terminal and life threatening illnesses, the thrill and excitement of flying not only provides them with a relief from treatment. | |
